These terms apply to your use of macrofacet.online, published by ABAJ CZ s.r.o., Čajkovského 1684/29, Žižkov, 130 00 Praha 3, Czech Republic, company registration 25687492. Reading the site means these terms apply. If they do not suit you, the remedy is to stop reading.

What this site is

Macrofacet publishes one thing: a five-step introductory course about collection role-playing games played on a desktop computer, written for a general reader in Australia. It is general information.

It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, consumer, technical or security advice — and it is not tailored to your circumstances, because we know nothing about them. It is not accredited training. There is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification, and nobody is recorded as having completed anything, because the site keeps no record of any reader.

Accuracy and change

We write the course carefully and review it at least twice a year. Even so, the subject moves: vendors change their products, prices, requirements and terms without telling us, and Australian bodies reorganise their guidance. Details that were correct when written may not be correct when you read them.

Before acting on anything in the course that concerns a particular product, check it against the vendor's own current material. Where the course describes a classification, a consumer right or a safety matter, the linked Australian body is the authority and we are not.

Third-party sites

The course links to other websites, including Australian government bodies and one game vendor through paid affiliate links. We do not operate those sites, do not control what appears on them and are not responsible for their content, their products, their terms or their privacy practices. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement, and following one takes you outside this site and outside these terms.

Your use of the content

The text, layout and code of this site belong to ABAJ CZ s.r.o. You are welcome to read it, print the checklists for your own use or for your household, and quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing the course or substantial parts of it elsewhere requires our written permission, which you can ask for at info@macrofacet.online.

All brand names mentioned on the site are the property of their owners, as the notice in the footer of every page sets out.

Availability

We do not promise uninterrupted availability. The site may be offline for maintenance or because of a problem at our hosting provider, and we may change or withdraw any part of the course.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ABAJ CZ s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything you decide after reading it. Decisions about which game to install, what to spend and what to agree to are yours.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where such a guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the extent the law permits us to limit it. Where the law does not permit a limitation, the limitation does not apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where ABAJ CZ s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That choice does not deprive you of the protection of the consumer laws of the place where you live. If you are in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law and any other mandatory Australian consumer protections continue to apply to you regardless of this clause.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The effective date at the top of the page changes when we do, and the version on the page at the time you read it is the one that applies.
